Previously heated by an expensive oil fired boiler, Park End house was fitted with a 110kW Froling Turbomatic in February 2006 providing hot water and heat to the main house, flats and adjacent cottages via an underground pipe system.
The boiler was the first installed by Park End Electrical engineers in consultation with EconergyLtd.
Park End Farms has since supplied woodchip fuels to Park End House.
Wood is sourced locally and chipped on site and delivered using our scissor trailer to the hopper feeding the boiler for an uninterrupted supply of fuel, essential during winter months.
